Review Dremel 750-02 Minimite 4.8-Volt Two-Speed Cordless Rotary Tool

Buy Cheap Dremel 750-02 Minimite 4.8-Volt Two-Speed Cordless Rotary Tool From Here Now!

We started counting all the uses for this little dynamo, but we stopped at 967. We like it for delicate tasks and finer work because it isn't as powerful as its big brothers, so it's easier to control. It's light, extremely maneuverable, the switch is exactly where you want it and heck, it's just plain fun to use. It's perfect for jewelry, electronics, tiny woodworking crafts like dollhouse furniture and other intricate hobbies. It uses Dremel's wide array of bits, so there's virtually no limit to what you can do with this. Sure, there are store brands on the market for less, but Dremel is king when it comes to rotary tools, and we think they outdid themselves with this one.

It's quite handy to trim my 2 dog's nails. It is not as loud in sound as the Pedi-Paw. I like that it's not just a tool, but that I can use it for my pets too!

this is a cool little tool. i have used it for a light sanding job and to grind the dogs toenails. worked great for both. not too loud so doesnt scare the dogs. and strong enough to get the thick nails. also used to grind a plexi-glass lid for a terrarium. i have other plans for this handy tool and would reccomend that you try it out. everyone could find a few projects that this would be great for!

We don't believe there's a golfer on the planet who wouldn't like a better score, and this little Dremel kit is a dream come true. Any compacted soil on your clubs can affect your trajectory; but a quick buzz with this neat little gizmo and your clubs are ready for the Masters. You can also clean off your golf spikes with the special bristle-brush attachments for a smooth pivot. The pros' caddies clean their clubs before every shot, and we think it'll be your habit, too, once you try out this handy kit. The carrying case clips neatly right to your golf bag and because it runs on good old AA batteries, there's never any recharging. Two smooth speeds deliver the power you want, and changing brushes is a snap. It's the perfect gift for the golfer who has everything except a perfect score.

Loved the great price, but was disappointed that the plastic casing on the tool itself looked as if it had been used as a football and was all scratched up and had dents in it. At least the case itself was still intact, so there was no doubt it was a new item. It was a gift, so that was an embarrassing situation.

"Not Just for Golf Balls!" 2008-12-27
By Michael J. Mckinney Jr. (casselberry, FL USA)
I am a modder, and I used to use this a lot on many different mods that I work on (game consoles, routers, laptops etc.). The portability is really nice, though the power isn't as strong as some other rotary tools like the black & decker rtx-b in particular. With fully charged batteries, it can cut through alot of materials, but dont expect to be able to drill through any metal. The only thing that could make it better is if they included an upconverter in the rotary tool. That way, instead of the tool slowing down when the batteries start dying, it will continue to operate at a good speed until the batteries are completely drained. I highly suggested it if you NEED something cordless or if your doing quick or lightweight work (trimming pet nails, etching some plexiglass, etc.) However, if your going to be working on a project for some time or if your cutting plexi, I would have to suggest the black and decker rtx-b or rtx-6 rotary tools (the other dremel rotary tools are highly overpriced in my opinion, and the black and decker ones have more amperage = torque = power = ability to cut through harder substances.)

NOTE: Get some rechargeable batteries, you'll thank yourself later.

"Battery powered convenience / less annoying noise" 2006-08-18
By rsu (Elberon, NJ - USA)
The best price I've found for a battery-operated Dremel is the Golf Cleaning Tool Kit. Similar tools, albeit with sanding drum attachments, are sold as "pet grooming tools" and cost significantly more. I use this tool regularly for grinding toenails on my show dogs and find they vastly prefer this battery-operated tool to a corded, electric one. This tool is capable of many traditional high speed/low torque rotary tool tasks.

If you're looking for battery powered convenience (4-AA batteries), I highly recommend this two-speed tool. Battery life is reasonable and though the tool is not too cumbersome in the hand for most jobs, if you have a job that requires you to hold it like a pencil it can become a bit fatiguing (it's pretty heavy at the end opposite your work.) The button-lock means you don't have to fool around with small wrenches to tighten or loosen the collett when changing attachments. If you find instances where the convenience of battery operability is of paramount importance, this is a very plausible tool to consider.

We are using this tool to file extra toenail thickness from fungus-infected toenails. It has saved me from this obstinate problem. By removing extra thickness, the toenail is relieved, infection is averted. I had one for 10 years before the motor gave up. I just bought a new more powerful one at the same cost.

The Dremel is great for sharpening chainsaws, very quick and easy to get use to. The only draw back with the Minimite is that for 3 hours charge you only get 20 minutes of use in the high speed mode.

I bought this on the advice of the groomer who cut her nails. My amazing and sweet Aussie and I adopted each other 12 years ago. For 3 years before that -Whoever- had her should be thrown in jail. Her nails were Never cut, quicks longer than you could ever imagine, but I won't get into that now! I had been taking her to groomers to have her nails professionally cut for Years. I just didn't trust myself to successfully do this. Well, she would still bleed, even with the pros. And I would get yelled at by the groomers for her nails being like that. Once I mentioned she came from a shelter...So I did tons of research and found this item. Fantastic! After all my baby went through and all that she was afraid of even years later, she did not mind the noise at all. What a gal! One thing I read that is good advice- somehow (pantyhose, etc) cover the paw, stick nails thru, so the fur does not get in the way. When it does get caught- watch out! I've been using it for I think about a year now at least 2x a month and just now I'm going to buy replacement pads. Highly recommend! Love the fact it is cordless, I'll never use a corded one again.

Best product of it's kind. The rechargable battery is very longlasting and works perfect even at the end of a charge. I'm finding new uses for it every week. From modifying my fishing tackle box by cutting out the plastic dividers to filing down my pets nails. So many attachments that you can't help but to find a use of one you see at the store. Very good price for the enjoyment I get from it!!

Since that there are very few cordless drills made for the hobbyist/modeler, I converted this tool to an excellent drill by replacing the 1/8" collet with a 0" collet, whereas, it will accept #60 thru #80 drill bits. Of course, the low speed of 5,000 RPM may be too fast for plastic or metal, it works great on wood.

I'm not an experienced handy-person but this dremel is a very handy tool to have around the house.

There are many different useful attachments you can purchase for just about any application.

This is a very basic kit but if you feel that after using it for some time you are going to be doing more involved,

professional work then you can step up to the more heavy duty machines.

This item arrived very quickly even with it being the free super saver shipping (about 9 days after the day I placed the order). Very easy to use and once charged I was able to trim both my dogs overgrown nails without any fuss. They are used to having their nails ground professionally so they didn't need to be introduced to it, but this items works wonderfully. Cheaper to purchase than 1 grooming session for my dogs so it has already paid for itself. Will definitely recommend this product to others.

I purchased this to trim my dogs nails. The battery in my last dremel died and it was more cost effective to purchase the whole package for a new dremel than to buy a new battery. I've always used dremels to trim the very hard nails on my dog and he doesn't mind it at all, sometimes dozing off during the process. I recommend this model dremel if dog grooming is your goal.

I bought this product mainly for the purpose of trimming my 45lb dogs nails. I found this product to work only "ok" For those who will use this on medium to large size dogs I would suggest you go for something a little more powerful.

The Dremel tools are great for trimming pet's nails. I just should have purchased a more powerful one.
